Ensuring air quality safety at waste transfer stations demands continuous monitoring of toxic hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), pungent ammonia (NH₃), and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs). Sapiens implemented a solution comprising six real-time odour monitoring units strategically placed at the West Kowloon (2), Island East (2), and Island West (2) Transfer Stations. This infrastructure allows for the prompt identification of hazardous conditions, mitigating health risks and environmental impact while upholding commitments to sustainable operations.
