Collaborative Odour Surveillance at the Hong Kong Shenzhen Border Interface

This project represents a unique cross-border collaboration between the Hong Kong and Shenzhen government environmental authorities. Ensuring air quality safety at waste transfer stations demands continuous monitoring of toxic hydrogen sulphide (H₂S), pungent ammonia (NH₃), and Total Volatile Organic Compounds (TVOCs). Sapiens implemented a solution comprising six real-time odour monitoring units strategically placed at the West Kowloon (2), Island East (2), and Island West (2) Transfer Stations.
